‘SOTY 2’: Ananya Panday pens a heartfelt ‘Thank You’ note for team

Just like last year, 2019 also promises a lot of newbies making their foray in the glamorous world of Bollywood. Chunkey Pandey’s daughter Ananya Panday is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s home production ‘Student of the Year 2‘ (‘SOTY 2’). Today, Ananya completed one year of the film’s shoot and she marked the occasion by sharing a heartfelt post for the entire team.

Even before making her debut, Ananya already enjoys a great fan following on social media. She keeps her followers constantly updated about her personal as well as professional life. Today, she became nostalgic recounting the first day of her debut film’s shoot.

Sharing pictures with her co-star Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and director Punit Malhotra, Ananya wrote, “There’s just one month to go for the film to release!!! ???I can never thank you enough.”

She thanked her co-stars, director and mentor Karan Johar for making her journey so memorable.

‘SOTY 2’ is being helmed by Punit Malhotra and interestingly, it also marks the debut of Tara Sutaria. The film will see special appearances from the original students Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and even the international icon Will Smith.

The film is all set to hit the marquee on May 10 i.e exactly one month from today.

Interestingly, even before the release of their debut film, both Tara and Ananya have bagged their second film as well. While Ananya will be seen in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ remake, Tara has ‘Marjaavaan’ in her kitty.
