Speechless! That moment when Farhan touched Robert De Niro’s feet

The moment you meet your role model, a person whom you have adored all your life, is always cherished and actor Farhan Akhtar had a similar moment when he met American actor, producer, and director Robert De Niro. Farhan, who is on his toes promoting his upcoming film ‘Lucknow Central’, shared his experience meeting Robert De Niro on a television show and stated that he touched his feet when he met ace filmmaker.

“When I met Robert De Niro for the first time, I was completely speechless. I didn’t know what to do and I was just like… in awe… and then I touched his feet,” exclaimed the actor.

Further adding, “Because I (had) decided (that) in my life if I ever meet him, he is the only person whose feet I’m gonna touch. So, I did touch his feet. And he was very sweet. He gave me a nice big hug.” How nice!

Talking about ‘Lucknow Central’, it also stars Daina Penty as the female lead. It is a story about a group of prisoners who plan to elope from the prison. How and whether do they succeed is something that we would know only when the film releases. It will make it to the theatres on September 15.
