Spotted: Akshay Kumar shoots for ‘Gold’ at a Mumbai stadium

Actor Akshay Kumar was recently spotted shooting for his forthcoming movie ‘Gold’ at a Mumbai stadium. The actor was seen in his new look amidst a crowd of people. A fanpage of the actor shared a picture with the caption, “@akshaykumar sir clicked on sets of #gold in Mumbai recently”

The makers have already unveiled the poster of the movie. Akshay had shared the poster with the caption, “Every cloud has a silver lining bt with ur love my clouds got a lining of Gold!As my age #TurnsGold, here’ s the poster of a film close to my❤.”

The Bradford schedule of the movie has been wrapped and the actor has kickstarted with the second schedule in Mumbai. Reportedly, this picture is from a rain sequence for the movie. Talking of the movie’s story, it revolves on the life of Balbir Singh, the man behind India’s glorious victory in hockey at the 1948 London Olympics. ‘Gold’ also stars Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Sunny Kaushal in important roles. Helmed by Reema Kagti, ‘Gold’ marks the acting debut of small screen diva Mouni Roy. The movie is scheduled for an August 15 release next year. Apart from ‘Gold’, Akshay will be seen in wife Twinkle Khanna’s production ‘Padman’ which is directed by R. Balki. The movie also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte and will be releasing on Jan 26 next year.
