Sridevi death anniversary: Boney Kapoor says ‘destiny denied our plans’ as he pens emotional message

Legendary actress Sridevi left her friends and fans devastated with her sudden demise. The worst affected were her daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor and the late actress’ husband Boney Kapoor. February 24, 2022, marked the 4th anniversary of the versatile beauty, Janhvi Kapoor had shared an emotional note for her mother. Now, her ‘soulmate’ Boney Kapoor has penned a note with a love soaked picture.

Boney Kapoor took to Instagram and shared a sweet picture of himself with his wife actress Sridevi from their Venice visit. He also recalled the one wish he and Sridevi never got to complete as destiny had other plans.

Boney Kapoor wrote, ‘We drove from Milan to Venice on 7th September 2008 & spent just a few hours in the city, we had made plans of visiting Venice again for a longer stay but destiny denied our plans ……….“.

In the picture, Boney Kapoor and the late actress are seen sitting in a boat in Venice posing for the camera with a smile on their faces. No sooner did the filmmaker share the pic than it was filled with comments from family and friends.

Not only Boney Kapoor but his daughter Janhvi Kapoor has also penned an emotional note for her late mother. Janhvi wrote, “I’ve still lived more years with you in my life than without. But I hate that another year has been added to a life without you. I hope we make you proud mumma, because that’s the only thing that keeps us going. Love you forever. (sic)”
