Sridevi Death Anniversary: Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor share heart-wrenching posts in the memory of their late mother

On Sridevi’s third death anniversary, the late actress’ daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor remembered their mom with heart-wrenching posts. Janhvi shared a note that seemed to be written by Sridevi for Janhvi. It read: “I love you my labbu. You are the best baby in the world.” The Roohi actress captioned the note, “Miss u.” Bollywood celebs including Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan dropped heart emojis on the post. Khushi Kapoor posted a throwback picture of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor and captioned it with heart emoji.

Boney Kapoor along with Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor performed a puja in Chennai in Sridevi’s memory ahead of her death anniversary. Sridevi died in Dubai in 2018, after suffering a cardiac arrest. She was with her family to attend Boney Kapoor’s nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding. Every year, the family visits Sridevi’s home in Chennai’s Mylapore and performs puja since her death. Last year, Khushi couldn’t attend the puja as she was in New York. Boney and Janhvi attended it.

Sridevi is known as the ‘first female superstar’ of Bollywood and she acted in 300 films in her career span. She was posthumously awarded the National Film Award for the Best Actress in 2018.

Janhvi was not with her mom in Dubai when she passed away. She was shooting for her debut film Dhadak. She misses her a lot. During the coronavirus lockdown, Janhvi shared a note where she wrote how much she misses her. “I’ve learnt that I can still smell my mother in her dressing room,” she wrote.

On the professional front, Janhvi will be seen in Roohi that also has Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma. She will also be seen in Good Luck Jerry and Dostana 2.
