Sridevi to play princess in her upcoming Tamil film

Sridevi will be playing the role of a princess in her upcoming Tamil film. The untitled film which will be directed by Chimbu Devan is a fantasy film which has Tamil superstar Vijay and Kannada superstar Sudeep playing the lead roles.

Sridevi made a successful comeback two years back through ‘English Vinglish’ which was a hit in boxoffice. She was approached for many films after the success of her comeback film. But she rejected all the scripts. She has now agreed to act in this film.

The untitled film is in news as it is the first time that two superstars of different industries are starring together. It is reported that Sudeep has been paid 6 crores, which is the highest for a south Indian actor in a language other than his own.
