JUST IN: Sridevi’s body to be brought back once Govt. of Dubai gives the forensic report

Leaving us in a deep state of shock, Bollywood actress Sridevi succumbed to a massive cardiac arrest last night. At the time of her death, the actress was in Dubai, attending the wedding of Mohit Marwah and Antara Motiwala.

Mohit’s wedding had almost the entire Kapoor family in attendance, including Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor, younger daughter Khushi Kapoor and step-children Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. The actress’ body will be brought back to India once the family receives the forensic report from Govt of Dubai. Right now her mortal remains are at the Dubai Government Hospital and an autopsy is being conducted.

“I was able to reach out to Mr Boney Kapoor last night. Our team is making sure the government processes are completed quickly. The body will be brought back as soon as possible but there are some elements/procedure that have to be done by govt of Dubai. As soon as the government of Dubai gives the forensic report we will get her body back,” diplomat Navdeep Suri who is presently serving as the Indian High Commissioner to UAE, said.

Sridevi’s body is expected to arrive at around 2 PM in the afternoon and will be then taken to her Andheri residence. Her elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor, who is prepping for her Bollywood debut ‘Dhadak’ was in Mumbai when the mishap happened.
