Sridevi’s post-mortem completed, the actress didn’t leave hotel for two days before death

Bollywood celebs and moviegoers are still in the deep shock of actress Sridevi’s demise which happened last night in Dubai after she suffered a cardiac arrest. The actress, aged 54, was known for brilliant acting and exceptional dancing skills. Though nothing can fill the void left by her, life has to go on, now that we await her arrival in Mumbai.

According to latest reports, the post-mortem has been completed and now her family is waiting for the death certificate.

The actress died in Emirates Towers where she and her family that included her husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi Kapoor had moved after attending the wedding celebrations of her nephew Mohit Marwah. Reportedly, the actress had not stepped out of her room for two days before she took her last breath. The post-mortem was completed around 1.10 pm in Dubai which is 2.40 pm in India.

As per Dubai laws, once the paperwork is completed, the family will be handed over the body. They will be returning to India for the last rites then. Reports suggest that Anil Ambani’s private jet will be bringing back the mortal remains of Sridevi to Mumbai and their arrival isn’t expected before 11 pm.
