Superstar Shah Rukh Khan will soon be seen depicting the role of a dwarf in his upcoming release ‘Zero’. The movie is being directed by Aanand L. Rai who is known for producing some out of the box films. The talented director and the superstar have forged a thick bond of friendship during the making of the movie. It is now being reported by a reputed publication that the duo have decided to take their friendship to the next level.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, filmmaker Aanand L. Rai has decided to become production partners with Shah Rukh Khan. The two will be collaborating over several unusual films for the next five years. “While directing Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Zero’, Aanand L. Rai became very close to Shah Rukh. Now Aanand and Shah Rukh are ready to put their heads together for a slew of projects that need not star Shah Rukh Khan or be directed by Aanand. Shah Rukh loves the kind of films that Aanand has been producing, like ‘Newton’, ‘Mukkabaaz’, ‘Shubh Mangal Savdhan’ and ‘Manmarziyaan’. It is time to take their partnership to another level,” a source was quoted as saying by Bollywood Hungama.
In a recent interview to Indian Express, Aanand L. Rai had said,”SRK is the most obedient actor I have ever seen. He makes you extremely comfortable. It’s great on his part that he gave me so much of space and never let me feel a bit uncomfortable. The fan moment was there for the first two days. He brushed it off quite soon. After that, I found a brother in him.”
In ‘Zero‘, the movie that has Shah Rukh Khan in a double role, we shall get to see Katrina Kaif in a new avatar. Her first look was shared by King Khan on her birthday in which we saw a dishevelled, bleeding, angry Katrina surrounded by a crowd. Kat is depicting the role of an actress in the movie whereas we shall see Anushka Sharma playing a scientist.
The movie also has a cameo by a number of Bollywood stars and topping the list is Salman Khan. A teaser unveiled on Eid showcased the first look of the ‘Dabangg’ Khan in the film. ‘Zero’ also marks the last movie appearance of Sridevi (in a special appearance), who died in February this year. She will play herself in a party scene.
‘Zero’ is slated to release on December 21, 2018.
