Aamir Khan is one of the most popular celebrities in Bollywood. Last year, he was seen in Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha. He starred opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in the same. After the release of Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir starrer received a mixed response. It also failed to do well at the box office. Now, Aamir’s cousin Mansoor Khan revealed filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s reaction to the actor’s performance in the film. Mansoor revealed that SS Rajamouli felt Aamir Khan was ‘overacting’ in Laal Singh Chaddha.

Recalling his conversation, Mansoor told a news portal, “Aamir has a great sense of humour. So, one day he laughingly tells me, ‘When you told me it was over the top, I said, ‘Ok, you are a subtle guy which is why you might have felt that way. But when someone like SS Rajamouli tells me overacting lag raha hai, I said to myself, Isko bhi lag raha hai toh kiya ki hoga.’”

Aamir Khan starred as Laal Singh whereas Kareena played his wife in Laal Singh Chaddha. The Advait Chandan directorial also starred Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh. Though the film failed to do good business at the box office, it received a positive reaction after it was released on Netflix.

Post Laal Singh Chaddha’s release, Aamir announced his break from films. At an event, Aamir had revealed that he is taking an acting break to spend time with his family. Since then, he has been low-key. For the uninitiated, Aamir had earlier revealed that he will return to films after a year or two.
