Standing Ovation for Richa Chadha’s ‘Maasan’ at Cannes Film Festival

Bollywood actress Richa Chadha is on seventh heaven. The Fukrey actress movie Masaan was screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. It was indeed a proud moment for the entire team of Indie film Masaan at Cannes Film Festival, as the movie received a five-minute long standing ovation after the screening.

‘Masaan’ is directed by debutant director Neeraj Ghaywan, it stars Sanjay Mishra, Richa Chadha and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.It is a story of a lower caste boy who falls in love with an upper caste girl in Varanasi. How the lovers are caught in a sex scandal.
