Stop addressing me as Deepika Padukone’s ex: Nihar Pandya pleads

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone has tied the knot with her beau Ranveer Singh in a dream wedding last year. The couple has been hitting headlines ever since with their numerous outings. And now Deepika’s ex-boyfriend Nihar Pandya too walking the same path as he is all set to marry his singer girlfriend Neeti Mohan.

However, Nihar Pandya has finally opened up about his ex Deepika Padukone. In an interview, Nihar revealed that he wished the news headlines announcing his wedding stop addressing him as Deepika Padukone’s ex. He further revealed that he has no bitterness in his heart for Deepika and that he wishes her happy married life. The actor also noted that he wants to have an identity of his own.

Nihar will be tying the knot with Neeti Mohan on February 15, 2019. The pre-wedding ceremonies are scheduled for Valentine’s day. It is to be noted that Neeti is famous for her songs like Sapna Jahaan, Kheech Meri Photo, Ishq Wala Love, etc.

On the other hand, Nihar will be making his acting debut with the film ‘Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi’ which is slated to release on January 25, 2019. He will be playing a significant role in the film.

‘Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi’ is a periodic historical film set against the backdrop of pre-independent British India. The film is based on the real-life story of Rani Lakhsmi Bai, the Queen of Jhansi and her fight against the British. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut will be seen playing the lead role of the Queen of Jhansi in the film.
