Farah Khan, Shekhar Ravjiani and Vishal Dadlani will make a cameo in ‘Student Of The Year 2’

Karan Johar’s college drama, ‘Student Of The Year 2‘ (SOTY2)which stars Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria in lead roles, now has few new members on board. Filmmaker Faran Khan and musicians Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani will be seen in a special role of ‘SOTY2’.

As per the reports, Punit has requested the musical duo Vishal-Shekhar and Farah Khan to do a cameo as a contest judges in the film. The trio will be seen judging Tiger, Tara and Ananya in a dance contest scene.

Interestingly the first instalment of the film, ‘Student Of The Year’ which was produced and directed by Karan Johar also featured Farah Khan for a similar role (college contest judge).

Confirming the news Farah told Mumbai Mirror,”Yes, I have a special appearance in the sequel, as I did in the original film. As a judge for the dance contest. Punit Malhotra, who is a close friend, requested me to do it. Karan’s (Johar) production house is home to me”.

The director of the second franchise, Punit Malhotra took Instagram to share the picture with Farah, Vishal, and Shekar and he captioned it as, “The peeps I love… thank you for coming back to school ❤️❤️❤️❤️ @farahkhankunder, @vishaldadlani1 @shekharravjiani “

‘Student Of The Year 2’ is produced under the banner of Dharma Productions and is helmed by Punit Malhotra. The film is set to release on 10th May 2019.
