Does Subhash Ghai’s post celebrating 25 years of ‘Khalnayak’ hints at a remake?

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai has given us many hit films. Out of all the films that he has treated the viewers with, ‘Khalnayak’ remains to be one of the most popular one.

The film that starred Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff in lead, released in 1993 and today as it has completed 25 years, director Subhash Ghai took to Twitter and wrote, “Khalnayak released today was our biggest experience of watching thousands of excited cine goers outside theatres all over India n USA with police controlling the crowd. Audience dancing in theatres. Even today few stars keen to remake it but WHO CAN PLAY KHALNAYAK TODAY?

In his post, Subhash Ghai revealed that even today there are a few stars who are interested in remaking his film. However, the director also posed a question that who can play Khalnayak today and even we started wondering that which actor can do justice to this iconic character. But after watching Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Sanju’ we think he would be the perfect choice for it.
