The Archies song Va Va Voom: Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor’s groovy number exudes ‘60s rock and roll era vibe

Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies is one of the most highly anticipated films of this year. After the exciting teaser and Sunoh, the makers of Archies have released the second song of the movie titled Va Va Voom featuring debutants Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor.

The energetic number instantly gets you grooving with its peppy beats. It takes you back to the era of 60s and has retro vibes. Apart from peppy beats, Suhana, Agastya, and Khushi’s effortless dance moves have our attention from the song and we just can’t stop watching it on loop. The lyrics of this amazing song are penned by famous lyricist Javed Akhtar. The vocals are by Tejas and the music is composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.

Talking about composing ‘Va Va Voom’ Composers Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy jointly said, The creative process behind this song was truly exciting. We wanted to create a dance number that would immediately compel one to hit the dance floor.

About The Archies

The Indian adaptation of the beloved comics will see Dot play Ethel Muggs, Agastya Nanda as Archie Andrews, Khushi Kapoor as Betty Cooper, Mihir Ahuja as Jughead Jones, Veronica Lodge will be portrayed by Suhana Khan, Reggie Mantle will be played by Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda plays Dilton Doiley. Set in 1960s India, the storyline revolves around Archie and the gang as they navigate the realms of romance, friendship, and the future of Riverdale. The coming-of-age musical drama is written by Zoya Akhtar along with Ayesha Devitre Dhillon and Reema Kagti. It will be streaming on Netflix from December 7.
