Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda’s debut film The Archies shoot begins

The Archie shoot has finally begun in full swing. Writer Reema Katgi took to her Instagram and dropped a picture of a clapboard, mentioning that they have kickstarted the shoot of the film which stars Bollywood newbies Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter, Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s daughter and Shweta Bachchan’s son are all set to make their big Bollywood debut in Zoya Akhtar’s Archie which is based on the comic book.

Earlier, Suhana, Khushi and Agastya’s looks from their debut film The Archies were leaked online where they were seen in their character getups. It intrigued everyone. Going by their looks, it seemed like Suhana will play Veronica Lodge, Khushi seems to play Betty Cooper whereas Agastya was sporting curly hair just like Archie Andrews’s character.

Even Dia Mirza shared the picture of the clapboard on her Instagram handle and captioned it, “All the BEST Tiger babies! Have the most wonderful time”.

Netflix, in collaboration with Archie comics, brings a coming-of-age story that will introduce the teenagers of Riverdale to a new generation in India

Archie is a live-action musical set in 1960s India, the film will be directed by Zoya Akhtar. Netflix, in collaboration with Archie comics, brings a coming-of-age story. Talking about this collaboration, director Zoya said, “I am super excited to have the chance to bring The Archies to life. It was a large part of my childhood and teenage years. The characters are iconic and globally loved, which is also why I am a little nervous. I have to make sure the film stokes the nostalgia of a generation that grew up on the comic and yet resonates with the young adults today.”
