Suhana Khan is all set to make her big Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. The musical has been in news for the longest time ever since its inception. And the biggest pulling factor is its stellar cast which marks the debut of 3 stars kids and 4 more fresh faces. Now, the new poster of The Archies has raised the excitement all the more.

The Archies features 7 gen-Z actors including Suhana, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Yuvraj Menda, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja and Dot. The film is an Indian adaptation of the comic book series of the same name. Set in the fictional Riverdale, the first glimpse of The Archies saw these 7 youngsters in retro style. Now, the new poster has added yet another uber cool look in their style diaries.

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s daughter Khushi and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya are all stepping in Bollywood with this musical. The shoot of the film wrapped up in December last year. It will be streaming on Netflix this year. To keep up the curiosity, the makers have been sharing a new glimpse from the film every now and then. The team of The Archies will also be heading to Brazil for Netflix’s global fan event Tudum soon.

All these 7 new actors will be playing the beloved characters from the hugely popular Archie Comics in the film. It will bring the iconic gang of The Archies replete with youthful energy, hope and excitement of the sixties era. The musical experience bursting with youth, rebellion, friendships, first loves and more makes it all the more exciting. The Archies release date is yet to be announced.
Zoya Akhtar is helming this musical, and she has also written it with Reema Kagti & Ayesha Devitre. The film is produced by Tiger Baby/ Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, Graphic India/ Sharad Devarajan, Archie Comics.
