Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is returning to the big screens with Sukhee. The trailer for the upcoming film was released recently and will make you laugh your heart out. In Sukhee, Shilpa Shetty is essaying the role of a middle class housewife who goes out on the path of self discovery.

Ahead of Sukhee, Shilpa Shetty has expressed her concern over the industry’s outlook on box office collections. She has also opened up about how it impacts the earning of the actors.

Shilpa Shetty expresses being afraid of taking up new projects

During the interview with India Today, Shilpa Shetty has revealed that she is afraid of taking up new projects. She said, “I am very scared of taking up projects where I am the main protagonist because the onus then lies on your shoulders and it is too much pressure.” She added, “Your worth is decided basis your box office numbers. An actor’s job is to do their job. Box office cannot be the deciding factor on how much we should be commanding.”

Shilpa is starring in Sonal Joshi’s Sukhee wherein she is playing the role of homemaker. The trailer takes you through the journey of a middle class housewife who wishes to explore herself and gets on the path of self-discovery. Needless to say, Shilpa Shetty in Sukhee trailer has left the netizens mighty impressed with the captivating storyline backed by stunning acting skills.

Apart from Shilpa Shetty, Sukhee also stars Kusha Kapila, Dilnaz Irani, Pavleen Gujral, Chaitannya Choudhry and Amit Sadh. The upcoming family entertainer is releasing on 22 September,2023. Apart from Sukhee, Shilpa is also making her OTT debut with Rohit Shetty’s the Indian Police Force. She will be working alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi. Indian Police Force will be streming on Amazon Prime Video from Diwali this year.
