Suniel Shetty finally confirms his daughter Athiya is seeing someone; Is he hinting at KL Rahul?

The year 2020 is going to the year of lovebirds, as we recently saw cricketer Hardik Pandya and actress Natasa Stankovic taking their relationship to the next level. Seems like soon Athiya Shetty and her alleged cricketer beau KL Rahul will be joining the never-ending list of Bollywood-cricket link-up. Though this alleged couple is yet to make their relationship official, however their latest New Year celebration in Thailand has once again set the tongues wagging.

Interestingly, Suniel Shetty has finally confirmed that his daughter Athiya is indeed dating someone. However, much to our dismay, he didn’t mention Rahul’s name.

While Suniel’s son Ahan Shetty is dating Tania Shroff, his daughter Athiya is allegedly involved with cricketer KL Rahul. Now talking about how fond he is of his kids’ partners, Suniel told Times of India, “We (he and wife Mana Shetty) love the kids and the kids they are dating. Absolutely love them and I think more than profession, being happy in life is very important today because that is the space I think that is missing.”

Without revealing Athiya’s boyfriend’s name, the ‘Hera Pheri’ actor further added, “I love Ahan’s girlfriend and I love whom Athiya is seeing. I do not have a problem with that, Mana doesn’t have a problem with that and they are happy… We are blessed that they are from brilliant families and so humble and fit into the family like gloves.”

Recently, Rahul shared a picture with Athiya on his Instagram handle. In the picture, Athiya can be seen giggling inside a telephone booth whereas Rahul is seriously dialling a number. The cricketer cheekily captioned the picture as, “Hello, devi prasad….?” For the unversed, the caption is a popular dialogue from Suniel’s hit film ‘Hera Pheri’.

Athiya and Rahul sparked dating rumours ever since they were spotted on a dinner date last year. Post that, the rumoured love birds have shared several loved-up pics and comments on each other’s social media handles.
