Suniel Shetty expresses joy over Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Gadar 2, and OMG 2’s box office success

2023 can be called a great year for Bollywood. Post Pathaan, fate seems to be changing, and looks like the dry spell at the box office is coming to an end. Recently, some of the much-awaited films like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, OMG 2, Gadar 2, and Jailer, among others released in theatres. Surprisingly, these movies are getting the audience back to the cinema halls. Expressing joy over such a moment, actor Suniel Shetty took to his Twitter handle and cheered for them.

The actor, being an avid social media user, penned a heartfelt note and cited how Bollywood is finally getting back on its feet. Suniel took to his X account and shared a collage of the posters of four films- Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Jailer, Gadar 2, and OMG 2. He wrote in the caption: “How fantastic the last couple weeks have been for cinema! Started with #RockyaurRani, and now #Gadar2, #OMG2 and #Jailer have all smashed it at the box office. And with the extended weekend the movie magic is only going to soar higher! Grab your popcorn and enjoy the blockbuster spree!”

As far as the collections are concerned, RRKPK starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt has collected over Rs 126 crores in India. Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 has become one of the highest-grossing films of 2023. It has collected over Rs 100 cr in just 3 days. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 has earned a total of Rs 43.11 cr. While Rajinikanth’s Jailer has collected Rs 215 crores worldwide in three days.

On the work front, Suniel Shetty was last seen in the series Dharavi Bank, followed by Hunter Tootega Nahi Todega. He will next be seen in the much-awaited Hera Pheri 3 with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. He also has Welcome 3 and Awara Paagal Deewana 2 under his belt.
