Suniel Shetty gives the REAL update on daughter Athiya Shetty’s wedding with KL Rahul

The Hindi film industry has seen quite a few love stories take the next step with marriage in the last few years. Many of the leading actors and actresses have taken the plunge in recent times and if rumours are to be believed, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are next in line to take the big step in their relationship.

Recently, reports have gotten stronger that Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are going to tie the knot in October this year and the preparations for the big day are going in full swing in the families. “Rahul’s parents were recently in Mumbai to meet Athiya’s family. The couple, along with their families, visited the new house where they will be moving in soon, to see the progress. The wedding is expected to take place in the next three months in Mumbai. It will be a grand celebration for both the families and every detail of the wedding is being overseen by the bride herself,” a source had told India Today.

However, now reacting to all those rumours, Suniel Shetty has given the real update on the impending wedding. While talking to Radio Mirchi, the actor responded to queries of the wedding preparations by saying, “No, nothing has been planned yet!” About a week ago, even Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty had told Dainik Bhaskar, “As far as the wedding is concerned, there are no arrangements being made. There is no such ceremony, these are all rumours. When there is no wedding, how can we give you a date?”

Athiya and Rahul have been dating for a long time and the couple made it Insta official when the cricketer wished Athiya on her birthday with a loved up post. Rahul has already gelled up with the Shettys and the couple made their first public appearance at Ahan’s debut movie, Tadap’s premiere last year in December.
