Welcome 3 cast gets bigger! Suniel Shetty joins Hera Pheri co-star Akshay Kumar for this adventurous comedy – Reports

Welcome 3 is in the pre-production stage and marks the reunion of versatile actor Akshay Kumar with Firoz Nadiadwala. The upcoming installment already has a glittery star cast, including Akshay along with Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, and Bobby Deol. Well, the female star cast of the film was not decided until recently, it came to light that Jacqueliene Fernandez and Disha Patani had reportedly joined the cast of Welcome 3.

The film’s cast does not end here. Yes, you read that right. There is a fresh new addition to the film to add more fun and entertain the audience.

Suniel Shetty joins the cast of Welcome 3

Pinkvilla has reported that the cast of Welcome 3 gets bigger as Suniel Shetty joins the team of the much-awaited comedy adventure. The actor will be playing an essential and powerful role in the film.

A Pinkvilla source revealed that, “Suniel Shetty shares a close bond with Firoz Nadiadwala and Akshay Kumar and when the opportunity to be a part of Welcome came his way, he was instantly on board. He is all excited to play a role that has not been explored before in the franchise. It’s a comic role, but in a new light with a new character shade.” It also added, “It’s a new character that he will be playing and has nothing to do with Yeda Anna or Shyam from Awara Pagal Deewana and Hera Pheri.”

The location for the film’s shoot has already been locked, and the film will go on floors very soon. Currently, the character looks and action scenes of the film are being worked upon. The film is slated to release next year, during the ocassion of Christmas. Now, the third installment of the film has a new title, Welcome To The Jungle.

Welcome was the first part of the franchise. It stood out as a memorable film being high on comedy and humor. Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Nana Patekar, and Anil Kapoor among others gave amazing performances. Majnu Bhai and Uday Bhai will always be remembered, along with their iconic dialogues.

Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty reunite again

Speaking of Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty, the pairing is iconic and we all know why. Known as Raju and Shyam, the two were seen together in Hera Pheri and Hera Pheri 2. Both films were comedy entertainers and stand out to be remarkable every day. Years after the films were released, Akshay and Suniel are still called Raju and Shyam. Well, guess what! They are reuniting for Hera Pheri 3 as well!
