Suniel Shetty has THIS to say about daughter Athiya Shetty-KL Rahul’s rumoured wedding

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul have been rumoured to be getting married in December this year. However, a couple of days ago, Athiya dismissed the wedding rumours. Now, Athiya’s father, actor Suniel Shetty has reacted to the rumours of the wedding.

Speaking with Times of India, Suniel said, “She is a daughter. She will get married sometime. I want my son also to get married. The sooner the better.”

He added, “It’s their choice. As far as KL Rahul is concerned, I love the boy. And it is for them to decide what they want to do, because times have changed. Beti aur beta dono hi responsible hai. I would like them to take decision. My blessings are always there for them.”

Coming back to Athiya’s reaction, she had said that she does not mind people thinking whatever they want to. For the uninitiated, it was also reported that the couple will be moving in together. Addressing the same, Athiya was quoted by TOI saying, “I am not moving in with anyone but my parents.”

Ahan Shetty had also reacted to his sister’s rumoured wedding. The actor told Dainik Bhaskar, “Aisa kuch nahi hai, yeh sab afwaahein hain. Shaadi ho hi nahi rahi toh koi date kaise de sakte hain. Engagement bhi nahi hui hai. Haal filhal uski bhi koi planning nahi hai. Immediate aane wale mahino mein bhi shaadi ki koi planning nahi hai.”

Well, Athiya and KL Rahul have been dating each other for quite some time. They are madly in love. The couple’s social media PDA is proof of the same.

A couple of weeks ago, KL Rahul celebrated his birthday. On his special day, Athiya had shared a bunch of photos to wish her beau. She had captioned, “anywhere with you, happy birthday.”
