Suniel Shetty has a quirky reaction to ‘confirmed wedding date’ of Athiya Shetty-KL Rahul

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. Rumours of Athiya Shetty-KL Rahul’s wedding keep hitting headlines. If reports are to be believed, Athiya and KL Rahul will tie the knot in January. Amid the wedding rumours, Athiya’s father Suniel has joked about the ‘confirmed wedding date’ of Athiya-KL Rahul.

Speaking with ETimes, Suniel revealed that the dates are yet to be confirmed. The actor joked, “Let me know when you get the confirmed dates so I can attend (the wedding).”

Earlier at the trailer launch event of Dharavi Bank, Suniel was asked about daughter’s wedding and he had confirmed that the wedding will happen soon. He had said, “Jaldi hogi (it will happen soon)”

In November, Athiya celebrated her 30^th birthday. KL Rahul had shared bunch of romantic photos with his girlfriend along with the caption, “Happy birthday to my (joker) you make everything better.” Athiya had also shared photos and gave fans a glimpse of her birthday celebrations. She had captioned it saying, “Idk about you, but I’m feeling 82!!!! Thank you for all the lovely wishes, truly feeling blessed.” KL Rahul had dropped heart eyes emojis on the post.

On the work front, Athiya is yet to announce her next film. The actress made her acting debut in 2015 with the romantic thriller film, Hero. She was starred opposite Sooraj Pancholi. Athiya later appeared in Mubarakan with Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz. In 2019, Athiya was seen in Motichoor Chaknachoor. She shared screen space with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the same.
