Suniel Shetty shuts down a reporter when questioned about Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s relationship- watch video

Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty has been linked with cricketer KL Rahul for the longest time now. The two haven’t confirmed the news but their posts and joint appearances paint a different story altogether. Suniel was recently asked about his daughter’s relationship but the actor shut down the reporter with a stern reply.

Recently, Suniel was spotted at a fashion event in Mumbai. While interacting with media, the ‘Hera Pheri’ actor was asked by a reporter about Athiya’s relationship with KL Rahul, to which he immediately replied, “I am not having the relationship, you’ll have to ask Athiya.”

The reporter further pushed by asking if the rumours are true and whether he accepts their relationship, to this Suniel gave a very stern reply, “You come and tell me if it’s true then will talk about it. You don’t know, how can you ask me?”

Suniel has always been very supportive of his kids Athiya and Ahan. Earlier, in an interview with Times Of India, the actor had said, “I absolutely love them and I think more than a profession, being happy in life is very important today because that is the space I think that is missing. We were all happy, we grew up happy.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Athiya was last seen in ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ in which she starred alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Other than that she hasn’t announced any other project yet.
