Sunil Dutt Birth Anniversary: Sanjay Dutt wishes his late father with an emotional throwback picture

Later actor Sunil Dutt, the father of actor Sanjay Dutt, passed away on May 25, 2005, which was just a few days before his birthday. Today, on Sunil Dutt’s birth anniversary he is being remembered by the nation and what a great personality he was. Along with the swarm of fans Sanjay Dutt also wished his late father on his special day. Sanjay shared a throwback picture from when he was a kid along with his father.

In the picture, little Sanjay was seen holding his father’s hand. Sunil was seen looking at Sanjay with adoration and a gentle smile. Sharing the picture on his Instagram account Sanjay wrote, “Always holding my hand through thick and thin. Love you Dad, Happy Birthday!❤️(sic)”

Meanwhile, a few days ago, Sanjay had taken to his social media and remembered his father as he wrote, “A parent, an idol, a friend, a mentor – you were everything to me. Love you Dad, miss you.(sic)” Sanjay’s daughter Trishala Dutt dropped a lot of hearts on the post.

Earlier in an interview with IANS, talking about his father Sanjay said, “Whatever I am today is because of my father. He is my inspiration and I miss him every day. I did not always share an easy relationship with him. But he always stood by me. I wish he was here to see me as a free man and the beautiful family that I have today. He would have been proud.”
