Contrary to popular belief megastar Amitabh Bachchan who had earned the title of Angry Young Man, believes that it is not he but yesteryear star Sunil Dutt who should be given this tag for his role of ‘Birju’ in ‘Mother India’.

“‘Namak Haram’ bore seeds of the anger that was next seen in ‘Zanjeer’, and the subsequent titling of the epithet ‘Angry Young Man’ by the media,” Big B wrote on his Facebook page.but Amitji believes that the birth of so called angry young man was designed by Mehboob Khan in Mother India where Sunil Duttt had portrayed the character Birju brilliantly.
