Sunny Deol channels his Gadar avatar at son Karan Deol’s Sangeet ceremony

The celebrations are in full swing at the Deol household as the wedding date of Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya approaches. On Friday evening, Sunny Deol hosted son Karan’s sangeet ceremony at his Juhu home. While the function itself has been long awaited, it’s Sunny’s look that stole the limelight as the actor channeled his Gadar avatar for the night.

Sunny looked ecstatic as he posed for the cameras outside the venue of the sangeet. The actor wore a kurta with patiala and a brown jacket, complete with a turban. The whole look reminded of his character of Tara Singh from Gadar. The excitement for Gadar 2 is already at a high and now this look of the groom’s Father has just taken it up a notch.

Bobby Deol and Abhay Deol arrive at the sangeet

While Sunny opted for a Desi look, brother Bobby chose for a traditional one. The groom’s uncle donned a light pink kurta complete with a Nehru jacket. He looked uber stylish as he posed for the shutterbugs with wife Tanya Deol. She also looked stunning in a neon yellow saree.

Karan’s other uncle Abhay Deol also looked quite classy as he wore a pink ensemble. The colour suited him quite a lot and he looked really happy to see his nephew enter this new phase of life.

Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya wedding details

Karan is getting married to Drisha Acharya, who is the great granddaughter of Bimal Roy. The couple have been together for a while and Dharmendra, Karan’s grandfather, had earlier revealed that the discussion of their marriage began at his home. The two of them look really happy together and are all set to tie the knot on June 18. The wedding will take place at Taj Lands End in Mumbai and the couple had their engagement ceremony on Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur’s wedding anniversary.
