Sunny Deol opens up about equation with half-siblings Esha Deol and Ahana: They are my sisters and nothing changes that

Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol are always under scrutiny for their equation with half-siblings Esha and Ahana. When Hema Malini and her family skipped Karan Deol’s wedding, rumours about animosity among family members surfaced on the internet. However, these speculations were put to rest after Esha showed up for brother Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 success party. This was reportedly the first time the siblings came together for an event. Now, during Koffee with Karan8 episode, Sunny spoke in detail about the equation between half-siblings.

On Koffee with Karan 8, host KJo brought up the topic of his equation with his step-sisters Esha and Ahana. Dismissing any kind of animosity, Sunny said, “They are my sisters. That is what it is. Nothing changes that. They were very happy.” Bobby, too echoed, the thoughts of his brother and repeated, “Nothing changes that”.

Sunny further recalled the moment they came to the Gadar 2 success party and shared, “The most beautiful thing over everything was the film became successful. I was going here, there, everywhere. And then, I wanted to have a success party. But I was like, ‘Will everybody come or not?’ I had my friend Kareem with me who knows everyone in the industry. He did everything. Till the evening, I was not sure who was going to attend it. But the way everybody came and the kind of love everybody gave, I was so happy seeing everyone coming home.”

When Esha Deol spoke about her equation with brothers Sunny and Bobby

Talking about supporting brother Sunny Deol during the Gadar 2 party, Esha said earlier in an interview, “First of all, reunion is something I don’t understand. It’s very funny to hear that word. We are very private as a family and we’ve kept it that way and we are going to continue keeping it that way.” She added, “This was a one-off where it very organically happened and you all saw us in a picture which was really well received and the public got very overwhelmed so that was very sweet.”

Amid the rumours of tiff in the family, Esha was seen turning cheerleader for Dharmendra’s son Sunny Deol at Gadar 2 screening.

For those unversed, Prakash Kaur is Dharmendra’s first wife and is mother to Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajeeta, and Vijayta. Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur got married in 1954. Dharmendra later fell in love with Hema Malini, and the two tied the knot in 1980. They have two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
