Sunny Deol yet to pay ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ crew even after 8 months; makeup artist Subhash Singh requests star to clear dues

Due to countrywide lockdown, shoots of movies, daily soaps have been stalled. Daily wage workers who used to work in the production houses are not being able to make ends meet. There are many whose payments are pending much before the lockdown happened and these workers are now crying foul over non-payment of dues from the production companies as they have no work and facing a financial crisis.

Bollywood’s senior makeup artist Subhash Singh worked for Sunny Deol’s ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’. Currently, he too is going through a financial crisis and desperately needs money. Subhash spoke to us and said that an amount of around Rs 7 lakh is pending from Sunny Deol’s production house.

Subhash said, “My colleagues and I worked for Sunny Deol’s ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ and he is yet to pay our remaining dues. A few months ago much before the lockdown, when we spoke to the production house, they said that all the payments will be cleared between May 3-4. But we didn’t get our remaining payment yet. I called again, but then they are saying it will be cleared soon. We are not asking for extra, but please give what we deserve. I request Sunny Deol to clear the payments.”

“I have been associated with Sunny ji for years. I worked for ‘Arjun Pandit’ and then we continued working together. I have a very good relationship with him and now I had to come out as my financial condition is deteriorating,” he said.

Describing furthermore about his plight, Subhash said, “I am really going through a bad phase as my mother is not well and there have been lots of expenses in her medicines. I have been feeding stray dogs, paying my assistants from my own pocket, borrowing food from shops to feed stray dogs. I am really stressed about what should I do now.”

We spoke to a few colleagues of Subhash who are also going through the same financial problem amid the lockdown. One of the stylists said (name not be disclosed) that she has almost exhausted her savings and has requested Sunny Deol to clear her dues as soon as possible. “I am not asking for extra, but please give me the remaining amount,” she said.

Well, through our portal we request Sunny Deol to clear the payments of the crew members who worked for him. If not now then when?
