Sunny Deol the ‘He Man’ of Bollywood is back with his action hero avatar in ‘Singh Saab The Great’ and is quite surprised at the current trend of actors going over board with the promotions of their films. He hinted at the over the top promotions done by Shahrukh Khan for ‘Chennai Express’.
As per sources, Sunny said, “I don’t understand the concept of big time promotions of a film. It looks like actors have turned madaris (jugglers) showing away the posters and pleading come and watch the film. I remember, earlier, we used to launch our official trailers on television and let the cine-goers arrive to a conclusion, whether they wanted to watch the film or not. But, things have changed. Everyone is running behind 100, 200 crore and more club.”
‘Singh Saab The Great’ is slated to release on November 22, 2013. It stars Amrita Rao, Urvashi Rautela and Prakash Raj in the lead roles.
