Actress Sunny Leone and hubby Daniel Weber turned parents as they welcomed a baby girl Nisha through adoption some months ago. Recently, the 21-month-old Nisha created special cards for daddy Daniel and all men, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
So, in a recent interview with The Indian Express, when Sunny was quizzed about parenting and how things have changed for her, she said, “It is the best feeling in the entire world. Daniel and I are hands-on parents. I love the idea of being there when she wakes up, and be the last person she sees before she goes to sleep at night. I am enjoying every bit of it. Changing nappies, dancing, playing, painting and doing everything a young toddler does. It is exciting.” (Also Read: Fans of Sunny Leone in Kochi go crazy to get a glimpse of the actress)
You would be surprised to know that baby Nisha was rejected by 11 prospective parents before Sunny and Daniel adopted her, as revealed by an adoption agency, CARA. Child Adoption Resource Agency (CARA) CEO Lt Col Deepak Kumar had told a news agency, “Without looking at colour, background and health status, Sunny Leone happily took the child in adoption. We respect that they didn’t try to bend the rules and stood in the queue like all the other parents.” Seems like destiny had really good plans for the baby as she fell into the lap of Sunny and Daniel. All of them found each other, eventually.
Work wise, the actress, who did a sultry item number for ‘Bhoomi’ said, “Everything comes a full circle. It was great to work on this song because it is T Series and Sanjay (Dutt) Sir’s comeback film. All the films he has done have been absolutely amazing, and being a part of his film makes me feel proud. We shot for the film over two days and rehearsed for about a month. My look is very different from other songs I have done before. Dance is always exciting.”
