Hrithik Roshan has nailed it to the T with his realistic portrayal of mathematics teacher Anand Kumar in his film ‘Super 30’. It is based on the life of amazing mathematician – Anand Kumar. Anand helps 30 smart but underprivileged students prepare for entrance exams for the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Reportedly, the film has already crossed Rs 50 crore mark on its first weekend. Recently, acclaimed filmmaker Shekhar Kapur (who is known for directing films like ‘Bandit Queen’, ‘Elizabeth’, ‘Mr. India’, ‘Masoom’ and ‘Vishwaroopam’) expressed how he was moved after watching ‘Super 30’. He took to his Twitter to write a heartfelt note about it.
Watching Hindi cinema in the theatres is a cathartic experience for me. I sit quietly in the theatre hoping no one notices my tears flowing. #super30 did that to me. It’s such a good story (and true) and a completely different @iHrithik Roshan’s performance overwhelmed me.
