Supreme Court orders Govinda to apologies for slapping a fan

Dancing star Govinda also known for his comic timing  had slapped  a person in 2008. There was a case filed against the actor by the victim. The honourable Supreme Court on Monday asked the actor to apologise to the victim for humiliating him in public. The case  had been quashed in 2013 as the High Court had alleged that it was filed a year after the incident.

Later the victim Santosh Rai, had moved the apex court alleging that the actor had humiliated him in public. The slapping incident had taken place at the Filmistan Studio. Govinda had been shooting for ‘Money hai toh honey hai’ there. Rai also revealed that he had spent close to Rs 5 – 6 lakhs on the case.

Santosh also added that as Govinda never spoke to him nor tried to apologise to him. Therefore ha added that he will fight till justice prevails and the actor acknowledges his fault.
