Surekha Sikri shifted from ICU; her health condition is finally improving

Veteran actress Surekha Sikri suffered a brain stroke on Tuesday (September 9). She was admitted to the ICU of a hospital in Mumbai. As per a report in ABP News, she has been shifted to a deluxe room from the ICU after her condition improved.

Surekha Sikri’s talent agent Vivek Sidhwani told the portal, “Surekha ma’am’s condition has improved and she is out of danger.”

When asked about the actress’ discharge, he said, “I can’t say anything about the same at the moment. The doctors will take the decision on her discharge after she recovers completely. She is doing better than earlier.”

She had already suffered a stroke in 2018 and has been suffering from minor paralysis.

When Sikri was hospitalised, her nurse urged the film fraternity to help her financially. Actors like Sonu Sood, Gajraj Rao and ‘Badhaai Ho’ director Amit Sharma had come forward to help the actress financially.

On the work front, she was last seen in ‘Ghost Stories’ that streamed on Netflix.
