Sushant and Sara meet for a script-reading session of ‘Kedarnath’

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput has started the preliminary preparations for his forthcoming movie ‘Kedarnath’. The movie marks the debut of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan in Bollywood. So yesterday, director of the movie, Abhishek Kapoor shared a picture of Sushant and Sara engrossed in a script-reading session of the movie. Sharing the picture on his Twitter page, he wrote, “#nicetomeetcha its real when actors begin readings and theres magic in the air #kedarnath #kriarj #balajitelefilms @GuyInTheSkyPics”

In the movie, Sushant plays the role of a pithu while Sara plays the role of an attractive rich tourist who falls in love with him. Before the movie went on the floors, Ekta Kapoor, who is one of the producers of the movie, along with with KriArj Entertainment, discussed on a number of ideas with Abhishek Kapoor. Speaking with The Indian Express, Ekta said, “When we heard the story, we knew this was it. It’s Sara’s debut opposite Sushant. Virendra Arora from KriArj Entertainment said, “It was a matter of time before Balaji Motion Pictures and KriArj Entertainment joined hands and nothing better than ‘Kedarnath’ for that. Shobha and Ekta Kapoor are inspiring figures. We take pride in joining forces with them and can’t wait to take the film on floors. Abhishek, we’re confident, will create something special for the audience.”[sic]

The movie is slated to release in June next year.
