Sushant Singh Rajput’s US-based sister finally gets tickets to India; worried about the quarantine period

Sushant Singh Rajput has left us all heartbroken as he passed away on June 14. The actor committed suicide as he was found hanging to death at his Bandra residence. It is said that he was depressed and stressed for the past 6 months. Most of his family made it to Mumbai for his funeral in time, but one of his sisters, Shweta Singh could not make it to the country as she lives in the USA.

Sushant’s father and other relatives were spotted yesterday as they landed in the city. Sushant’s death has taken a severe toll on his father’s health.

Sushant’s sister took to her Facebook handle to thank everyone who helped her get the tickets but she is worried about the quarantine period. She wrote, “By everyone’s help…. tickets to India are confirmed. I am flying on 16th, will reach Mumbai via Delhi. Worried about 7 Day quarantine period… is there a way it can be waived off? I need to get to my family soon. ? (sic).”

Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral happened yesterday at the Vile Parle crematorium at 4 pm. The funeral was attended by his family and Bollywood personalities like Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Rajkummar Rao, Dinesh Vijan and Vivek Oberoi among others.

Reportedly, Sushant’s cousin brother’s wife, Sudha Devi has passed away at his native place, Purnia in Bihar. She could not bear the loss of Sushant and it affected her adversely. She was also said to be suffering from a prolonged illness and she stopped eating when she heard the news of Sushant’s death.
