Sushant Singh Rajput’s last rites performed; ashes to be immersed in Ganga at his hometown, Patna

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden death has left everyone aghast. Still, we are trying to accept the fact that he is no more. The talented actor took his life by hanging himself. Reports state that he was battling depression, but the reason behind such a drastic step is still a mystery. Sushant’s last rites were performed in Mumbai. His father KK Singh and his relatives were present at the funeral. Also, Bollywood celebs like Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Vivek Oberoi, Rajkummar Rao and others arrived to pay their last respects for the departed soul.

Sushant’s father along with his daughters performed the last rites of his son. As per reports, Sushant’s ashes will be immersed in Ganga river at his hometown, Patna.

Sushant originally hailed from Bihar. His fans and relatives of Bihar have also mourned the death of the actor. He did his schooling from St. Karen’s High School in Patna and then from Kulachi Hansraj Model School in New Delhi. He was a very bright student and secured the seventh rank in the Delhi College of Engineering Entrance Exam and got admitted in B.E. Mechanical Engineering. He was also a National Olympiad Winner in Physics. His main desire was to act. So, he came to Mumbai to try his luck in acting. After so much dedication and hard work, Sushant climbed the ladder of success and became one of the sought after actors in Bollywood.

Sushant was also a philanthropist and he donated to many states when there was any crisis. His great works will always be remembered.
