Sushant Singh Rajput’s autopsy report has been making the rounds of the internet. The actor committed suicide by hanging himself at his Bandra residence. The report also said that ‘asphyxia due to hanging’  was the cause of death. Now, the CBI has taken over the investigation in Sushant’s case. The team has approached A forensic team of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi to analyse the medical aspect of Sushant’s death.

According to a report by Times Now, the copy of the autopsy report mentions ‘asphyxia due to hanging’ as the cause of death. The report further mentions that there were no injuries or fractures on Sushant’s neck or brain. The ligature marks on Sushant’s neck were also mentioned and it said that it was present on the right side and absent on the back of the neck. It read, “…pressure abrasion (ligature mark) present around the neck at the level of thyroid-cartilage, passes obliquely upward, backward towards mastoid process on both sides,” it noted. The report said that the “total length of ligature mark is 33 cm”.

Coming to the stomach, the report said that there was ’50 cc of brownish colour fluid was present’ but it was not mentioned what it was. The report is said to be signed by five doctors. The autopsy report also mentioned that there was no evidence of haemorrhage in subcutaneous tissue and muscle and in the thyroid gland, laryngeal muscles and para-tracheal muscles.

Well, it will be interesting to know what the CBI finds out in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case.
