In her FIR, Rhea had accused SSR’s sister of prescribing medicines to the late actor without any consultation. The actress had also named Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia hospital in her FIR and accused them all obtaining a fabricated prescription for anti-depressants for Sushant. Rhea had also alleged that Sushant died within five days after obtaining the prescription.
During the hearing, Vikas Singh argued that the Telemedicine Practice guidelines allowed a doctor to prescribe medicines to someone after an online consultation. He also said that due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, Sushant wasn’t able to go for a physical consultation.
Vikas is now hopeful that Rhea’s FIR against the late actor’s sisters will be quashed. He took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “# Hearing concluded in the SSR sisters matter. Justice will prevail. The FIR registered by Rhea likely to be quashed.”
