Unbelievable! Sushant Singh Rajput becomes the first B-town actor to buy a land on Moon

We have heard celebrities of buying high-end automobiles or even islands, but have you ever heard of anyone buying a land on the Moon? Well, it was a pleasant surprise for us when we learned that our very own Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is now a proud owner of a piece of land on the Moon!

Talking about his prized possession the actor said in a statement, “I would like to believe that the different ways we answer questions ‘are’ the answers of those questions. So the variations in the way we punctuate the narratives; the nuance, would create the different versions of reality in future. My mother used to tell me that my life will be the story that I will tell myself. I am just punctuating a nuance right now and already am, over the Moon!”

Sushant claims to have bought the property from the International Lunar Lands Registry, making him the first Bollywood actor to do so. Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan has already been gifted a piece of land on the Moon by a fan. The ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ actor has bought a piece of lunar land on the far side of the Moon, in a region called the Mare Muscoviense, or the “Sea of Muscovy.

Though Sushant has registered the property on 25 June, however, it may not amount to a legal ownership as an international treaty states that outer space, including the Moon and other celestial bodies, are the common heritage of mankind and hence cannot be owned by any nation or individual.

We wonder if Sushant buying a piece of land on the Moon is a part of promoting his upcoming film ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’. Apart from this film, the actor will also be seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’.
