Sushant Singh Rajput’s contract copy with Yash Raj Films submitted to police

Post Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide, the Bandra Police has been investigating the case by recording the statements of his close friends, family, colleagues, and others to know more about the reason behind his suicide. It was few days back, the police wrote to Yash Raj Films (YRF), asking for a copy of a contract they had signed with Sushant. As per a report in India Today, on Saturday, Bandra police officials confirmed that they have received the contract agreement copy that was signed between Sushant and Yash Raj Films.

Sushant’s legal advisor, Priyanka Khemani, also recorded her statement with the Bandra police on Saturday.

DCP Abhishek Trimukhe from Zone 9 of Mumbai police told India Today, “In Sushant Singh Rajput ADR case of Bandra police station, Bandra police has recorded statements of his managerial staff. Based on the information given by them, Bandra police is verifiying the facts.”

He added, “Investigation officer has received the contract copy signed by Sushant Singh Rajput from YRF.”

Sushant worked with YRF productions in two movies-‘Shuddh Desi Romance‘ and ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!’. He signed his third film ‘Paani’ with them but later it got shelved.

Meanwhile, police have recorded statements of 16 people including his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty till Saturday (June 20).

Sushant Singh Rajput ended his life on June 14 by hanging himself at his Bandra residence.
