Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aditya Thackeray has rubbished all the rumours of having any connection with the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Aditya issued a statement and cited all the rumours as ‘dirty politics’. The Shiv Sena leader took to his Twitter handle to lash out at these ‘baseless’ allegations levelled against him and his family.
Mumbai police is investigating the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. However, they are yet to file an FIR and this has led furore amongst the late actor’s fans and family. Many of them are now demanding that the case should be handed to CBI. But Maharashtra government has expressed their faith and lend their support to the Mumbai police. Amidst this, there were several conjectures linking Aditya Thackeray with Sushant’s death case.
Breaking his silence in this regard, Aditya took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Those who are pricked by the success and popularity of the Maharashtra government have started dirty politics over the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Unnecessary mud slinging on me and the Thackeray family. This is nothing but dirty politics arisen out of frustration. Using someone’s death for political gains is inhumane.”
He went on to add that he will never do anything that will hurt the prestige of Maharashtra, Shiv Sena and the Thackeray family. He also said that having Bollywood celebs as friends is no crime.

“I am not even remotely connected to the case. I wish to say as the grandson of Hinduruday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray, that I will never do anything that would hurt the prestige of Maharashtra, Shiv Sena and Thackeray family. The people who are levelling baseless allegations should understand this,” Aditya wrote in his statement.
Earlier BJP MP and former CM of Maharashtra Narayan Rane and claimed that both Sushant and his ex-manager Disha Salian were murdered. He even alleged that Disha’s autopsy points out that she was raped. Rane even accused the Maharashtra government of trying to ‘save someone’ and not revealing the truth.
