NCB arrests Zaid Vilatra & Basit Parihar

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested two persons for allegedly supplying drugs to Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik. The two accused, Abdul Basit Parihar and Zaid Vilatra were arrested on the basis of the chats that NCB found between Showik and Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda.

According to the NCB, these accused used to hand over drugs to Samuel who in turn gave them to Showik. Read on to know the details.

According to an ANI report, the NCB officials were quoted saying as, “He (Basit Parihar) had a connection with Samuel Miranda. Miranda is accused of procuring drugs on instructions of Showik Chakraborty (the brother of prime accused and Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty).”

The agency further added, “Zaid Vilatra disclosed that he runs an eatery shop at Bandra, which was not giving any pecuniary gains since lockdown. He also disclosed that he is into the drug peddling especially bud, through which he used to earn the substantial amount of money.”

Reportedly, NCB is trying to find out links between local drug networks in the city and Rhea. They have already registered a criminal case against the actress.

Following these arrests, NCB will next interrogate Samuel and Showik. Meanwhile, ED is grilling hotelier Gaurav Arya. Whereas CBI is interrogating Rhea’s parents as even have been named in the FIR filed by Sushant’s father KK Singh. Sushant’s family has accused Rhea and her family of abetting Sushant’s suicide and using his money.
