Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer says CBI hasn’t summoned her yet

After the Supreme Court’s hearing, a team of CBI arrived in Mumbai to probe the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The CBI officials wasted to no time in starting their investigation and they have already interrogated Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani, his housekeeper Neeraj Singh and a few others.

The CBI team even reached Sushant’s residence in Bandra to recreate the entire crime scene. They grilled Siddharth and Neeraj about the incidents leading up to them finding the actor’s body hanging in his bedroom. While the latest reports suggest that CBI is most likely to question Rhea Chakraborty next, however, her lawyer Satish Maneshinde has said that the actress hasn’t been summoned by the CBI yet.

A report in ABP live states that lawyer Satish Maneshinde has said that neither Rhea nor her family members have been summoned by CBI yet. However, according to their sources, a summon has been sent to Rhea’s residence. The report further stated that when the CBI officials reached Rhea’s residence her housekeeper said that she was not present at home.

Apparently, the actress is trying to avoid receiving the summon herself as she may be planning to file an anticipatory bail plea. The actress lawyer has also stated that they will appear before the agency if they are summoned.

Meanwhile, a team of CBI visited Cooper hospital where Sushant’s autopsy was done. Another team visited Bandra police station to meet Mumbai police officials probing the 34-year-old actor’s death case.

A team of CBI even visited the resort where Sushant spent two months for ‘spiritual healing’.
