The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has rejected actress Rhea Chakraborty’s request seeking postponement of her recording the statement until the Supreme Court hears her transfer petition as per a report in Zee News. As per their sources, “The ED has asked Rhea Chakraborty to join the probe. Her request has been denied and no exemption given by ED.”
Rhea had sent an email to the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday night, where she had urged to postpone the summoning. In a statement, Rhea’s counsel Satish Manshinde said, “Rhea Chakraborty has requested that the recording of her statement be postponed till Supreme Court hearing.”
Rhea and her brother Showik were spotted at ED office today.

The ED came into action after the case was registered against Rhea and her family members. The team also questioned Chartered Accountant Sandeep Sridhar. Rhea’s associate Samuel Miranda and her CA Ritesh Shah were also quizzed in relation with Sushant’s suicide case.
Also, reportedly, Sushant’s friend Siddharth Pithani will be quizzed on August 8.
On July 25, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh, had filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty at Rajiv Nagar Police Station in Patna. KK Singh had accused Rhea of taking Rs 15 crore from the late actor. Sushant’s family has alleged that Rhea was misusing Sushant’s money and his credit cards.
