Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his Bandra residence on June 14. While his post mortem reports confirmed that he committed suicide, the police are investigating the case further probing ‘professional rivalry’ angle and trying to find out what made the actor end his life abruptly. Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhishek Trimukhe recently revealed that they are investigating Sushant’s suicide case from every angle.
Giving the latest update on the investigation, ANI tweeted, “Bandra police has recorded statements of 27 people so far in the #SushantSinghRajput’s death case. We’ve got his detailed post-mortem report & doctors have clearly mentioned asphyxia due to hanging as cause of his death: Abhishek Trimukhe, Dy Commissioner of Police (DCP). #Mumbai(sic).”

In his statement, DCP Abhishek said, “In Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, Bandra Police has recorded statements of 27 people until now. SSR’s detailed post-mortem report given to the Police by Cooper hospital clearly states his cause of death as ‘asphyxia due to hanging’. A team of 5 doctors has signed on the PM report. The other samples that have been collected from his body have been sent for analysis and we’ve requested our forensic team to handle the case on priority.”
Trimukhe appealed the people to not believe the theories emerging on social media and that they are investigating Sushant’s case with the utmost professionalism and priority. He also said that as soon as they get the results they will reveal the real reason behind Sushant’s suicide.
