Will Sushant Singh Rajput ever work with his ex Ankita Lokhande? Find out here

Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande were one of our favourite onscreen and off-screen couples. They worked together in popular serial ‘Pavitra Rishta’. They both were perfect for each other in reel and real life. However, Sushant and Ankita parted ways in 2016 and since then, they have been facing media glare over their relationship. The breakup left millions of their fans in shock.

Post the break-up, both the actors have moved on in their respective lives and are busy with their professional commitments. While Sushant is making heads turn with his choice of films, it was only recently that Ankita Lokhande made her Bollywood debut with Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’.

As both the actors have made the transition from television to Bollywood, the fans must be wondering if they will ever get to see Sushant and Ankita together in a film. Well, there is a piece of good news for the fans as the ‘Kedarnath’ actor gave his nod to working with ex-girlfriend Ankita. When Sushant was asked about working with Ankita, he said, “Yes! Kaam ke liye kabhi na nahi kar sakte hai, kisi ke liye bhi.”

Recently, in an interview with The Times Of India, Ankita was asked if she would ever share screen space with Sushant, given the fact that she has now entered Bollywood. To this, the ‘Manikarnika’ actress replied, “As an actor, I have no choice. If the script is good, I will definitely work with him.”

On the work front, Sushant was last seen in ‘Kedarnath’ featuring Sara Ali Khan and is gearing up for this year’s releases including ‘Sonchiriya’, ‘Drive’ and ‘Kizie Aur Manny’. ‘Sonchiriya’ is set in the 1970s and the film is based in a small town where multiple gangs fight among themselves for power. The film stars Bhumi Pednekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. It will hit the theatres on March 1.
