Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Late actor’s family now claims it as a ‘murder’ in their statement to CBI

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020. The late actor’s father KK Singh had filed an FIR against his son’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty in Patna for abetment to suicide. Post which, on the request of the Bihar Police and notification by the Centre, CBI took over the case and has filed an FIR against Rhea and her family members. Now, Sushant’s father and sister in their statement to CBI have claimed that the actor was ‘murdered’.

According to a report by Times Now, Sushant’s father and sister recorded their statements in Faridabad. Also present was Sushant’s brother-in-law, OP Singh. Earlier, Sushant’s family had accused Rhea of abetment to suicide, but, now they want the case to be probed as a murder looking at the current situation and evidence. They said that looking at the present circumstances it appears that it is a case of murder. They asked CBI to look into this case from aspect of murder and not as an abetment to suicide.

Meanwhile, Rhea has filed another petition in the Supreme Court. She claimed that the case is being blown out of proportion due to the Bihar Elections, in her 11-page affidavit.
