Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case is being investigated by the Mumbai and Bihar Police. Meanwhile, many have requested a CBI probe on the case but Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has taken the final call and condemned a CBI probe on the case. Meanwhile, Sushant’s family lawyer Vikas Singh has claimed that the Mumbai Police is taking time to destroy the evidence.
In an interview with ANI, Vikas Singh said, “I don’t think any state government would have quarantined an enforcement officer. Quarantining of a police officer clearly means they want to disable or obstruct the investigation by Patna police.”
He further added that the Mumbai police is trying to destroy the evidence, “Basically, Mumbai Police is buying time to ensure that the evidence gets destroyed. So we decided that this matter should be given to CBI and Nitish Kumar had earlier promised that if the father wants a CBI probe, it will be handed it over to CBI.”
